Project management is the most crucial factor for the success of a project. The project manager is an absolutely pivotal person in the project. He or she has to unite all the team around a common goal, which calls for understanding and insight into a wide range of aspects. While remaining creatively open to continuous adaptation as and when new problems and expectations arise. To achieve this, we have produced a development model which ensures sustained focus on improving all aspects of the project management discipline.
In Astute Solutions, we follow a project process that ensures that our solutions fulfil our clients expectations every time. We base our work on a six-step project process, which covers everything from the start-up phase to commissioning and operation.
Understand
Understanding the task is the fundamental key to solving it. In dialogue with clients we map out needs, wishes and success criteria – both in relation to the end product and the project process. Only when these elements have been identified can we begin to solve the task.
Define
To ensure that the project results in the right solution, the assignment is clearly defined, delimited and put into a broader context. Time, finances, quality, working environment, and communication with the parties to the project are elements in the completion of the final contract and in planning the task. The task has now become a project.
